Violin

I have passed the ABRSM Grade 8 Violin Exam and have worked on the dipABRSM Violin Teaching Diploma. 

Teaching Experience

Past teaching experience for me includes:

  • Being the musical director and lead violinist of my own contemporary strings group in Birmingham with 3 violinists and a cellist, playing from a wide repertoire, with music from classical to film soundtracks.
  • Giving 1 to 1 tutoring with other violinists. I have helped students with ABRSM exam pieces and pieces they may be working on in orchestras and bands.
  • I can also play piano and have played the piano accompaniment for other violinists before. This can be useful for violinists who need a teacher who can also play piano accompaniments for them in their violin exams.

  • Chaminade – Concertino for Flute & Orchestra
  • Stravinsky – Symphony in E Flat
  • Faure – Pavane

Other Orchestras:

  • Film Music including: Star Wars, Forrest Gump, Indiana Jones, Superman + much more.
